Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer 📍Local employment contracts (no B2B) Slovakia | Bulgaria | Cyprus 🕐 13:00–22:00 CET (collaboration with US-based teams) Clever Recruiting is looking for a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer for our partner, an international technology company providing cloud infrastructure and managed services to businesses worldwide. We're looking for someone who enjoys building things that make other engineers' lives easier — improving delivery processes, automating repetitive work, and making development environments more reliable. The role combines hands-on platform engineering with an opportunity to bring AI-powered tools into everyday software development. What you'll do Develop and maintain CI/CD infrastructure and deployment automation. Create reusable tools and solutions that simplify software delivery across engineering teams. Introduce AI-driven automation into code reviews, testing, and development workflows. Improve platform security, reliability, and monitoring. Take ownership of technical solutions, including production support and on-call duties. Work closely with engineering teams across different locations. What we're looking for 5+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong DevOps or platform engineering background. Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub automation, containers, and deployment processes. Working knowledge of PHP and Perl. Hands-on experience using AI tools in software development. Experience with production systems, automated testing, and troubleshooting. Good written English and ability to work independently in a distributed team. Experience in cloud hosting, platform development, or secure software delivery is a plus. What's in it for you? Work on infrastructure and tools used by multiple engineering teams.
