Staff Software Engineer - Platform Evolution Location: Bratislava, Slovakia Staff Software Engineer - Platform Evolution Location: Bratislava, Slovakia Our clients looking for a hands-on Staff Software Engineer to help shape the future of one of their large-scale consumer-facing platforms. This is a Full Stack role with a strong frontend focus (approximately 60% frontend / 40% backend). You'll combine technical leadership, architecture ownership and hands-on development to improve platform performance, scalability and customer experience. What You'll Bring Strong Full Stack experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular or similar) and PHP. Strong HTML & CSS fundamentals. Experience working on large-scale B2C or consumer-facing websites and platforms. Proven experience owning architectural decisions and setting technical direction. Experience modernising legacy systems and reducing technical debt. Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance and scalability. Ability to operate at Staff, Principal, Lead or Architect level whilst remaining hands-on. Experience mentoring engineers and raising engineering standards.
