Software Engineer (Mortgage Tech) at BairesDev As a Software Engineer (Mortgage Tech), you will develop high-performance solutions tailored to the mortgage industry, optimizing complex lending lifecycles and ensuring technical excellence in a highly regulated space. You will drive the creation of secure, scalable software that streamlines loan processing and enhances the digital experience for both lenders and borrowers. What You'll Do: - Architect and maintain robust software platforms to automate mortgage origination, underwriting, and loan servicing workflows. - Integrate diverse third-party lending tools, CRMs, and financial systems to create a unified and seamless digital space for lending teams. - Implement and govern strict technical standards to ensure all systems adhere to critical mortgage industry regulations and data privacy requirements. - Design and optimize backend systems to handle complex loan data, ensuring high availability and accuracy across large-scale portfolios. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate intricate business logic into efficient code, improving overall operational performance. What we are looking for: - 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on mortgage or lending technology. - Proven expertise in building software for mortgage origination and loan processing. - Hands-on experience with backend technologies such as Python, Node.js, or .NET. - Deep domain knowledge of US lending workflows and mortgage compliance. - Proficiency in integrating with platforms like HubSpot, LoanPress, or Ellie Mae. - Advanced proficiency in English.
