Software Engineer (Java / C#)

Project: Development and Enhancement of Pocket/P3 (Trading Application) and Phillip Website Job Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Java (Spring Boot / Spring MVC) and/or C# (.NET). Develop and maintain API endpoints, business logic, and system integrations for trading applications and web-based platforms. Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and follow clean code and software development best practices. Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and SQL Server. Collaborate with backend, frontend, mobile, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and system improvements. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure system stability and performance. Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of software development processes. Use Git, Bitbucket, branching workflows, Pull Requests, and CI/CD pipelines for daily development and collaboration. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in software development or backend development. Hands-on experience in Java development with Java 8 / 11 / 17 and Spring Boot / Spring MVC, or C# with .NET. Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services. Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software development best practices. Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server. Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, branching workflows, and Pull Request processes. Basic understanding of JSON, JWT, and authentication/authorization mechanisms. Experience with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
