Sr. Data Scientist

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Data Scientist to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will focus on building and operationalizing predictive analytics solutions that support credit risk, marketing, and other key business decisions in a regulated financial services environment. The position owns the full model development lifecycle, from problem framing and feature engineering through deployment, monitoring, and ongoing refinement. You will partner closely with technical and business stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights that improve performance, governance, and decision-making. Location: Remote Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually Responsibilities Develop and maintain predictive models for credit risk, marketing, and other business domains Manage the end-to-end model development lifecycle from problem framing to deployment Implement machine learning solutions using advanced techniques Create model monitoring frameworks to ensure performance and compliance Communicate model performance and insights to technical and non-technical audiences Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a quantitative field required; PhD preferred Minimum one year of hands-on experience in predictive modeling or advanced analytics in financial services Strong programming skills in Python, R, and SQL Expertise in statistical modeling methodologies and machine learning algorithms Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business and executive audiences Benefits Competitive pay, including bonuses and variable pay incentives Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans 401(k) plan with company match Short- and long-term disability coverage Wellness programs and employee engagement activities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
