Terms and Conditions of Use

1. What VagasLume is

VagasLume (vagaslume.tech) is a tech job aggregator: it gathers job postings published by third parties (job boards, company websites, public channels) in one place, with filters and alerts. We are not an employment agency, we do not broker hiring, and we do not receive any commission from companies or candidates for filled positions.

2. The jobs aren't ours

Every listed job was originally published by a third-party platform or company — VagasLume only collects and organizes that information. We do not guarantee that a job is still open or that its details (salary, requirements, work model) are 100% accurate or up to date, nor do we verify the credibility of whoever published it. We do our best to remove closed jobs quickly, but delays or errors can happen. The "Apply" button always takes you to the original site — the application itself happens there, outside our control.

3. Creating an account

You do not need an account to search and view jobs. An account (email and password) is only required to use features that store something on behalf of your profile: marking a job as saved/applied/hidden, setting up email alerts, tracking applications and uploading a résumé. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens using your account.

4. Acceptable use

By using the site, you agree not to:

• try to automate access in volumes that overload the service (aggressive scraping, brute-force bots, etc.);
• try to bypass security limits, authentication, or access other users' data;
• use the platform to publish, send or associate with your account content that is illegal, offensive, or that violates third parties' rights;
• impersonate another person or company.

5. Résumé and profile data

If you upload a résumé (PDF file) or fill in profile data manually, that information is tied to your account and used only for the site's own features (e.g., suggesting matching jobs). More details in the Privacy Policy.

6. Service availability

VagasLume is provided "as is", with no guarantee of continuous availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue any feature (or the entire site) at any time, without prior notice — it is an independent project, not a service with a contracted SLA.

7. Limitation of liability

We are not responsible for decisions made based on the listed jobs (e.g., accepting an offer that turned out to differ from what was advertised), for damages resulting from site unavailability, or for the conduct of third parties (advertising companies, other job platforms) outside our control.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update this document as the site evolves. The date at the top of the page always reflects the latest version. Continued use after a material change counts as acceptance of the new terms.
