The platform is designed for teams that want to streamline analytics workflows, improve data consistency, and accelerate decision-making. Role Description This is a full-time, remote Data Engineer role. The Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain data pipelines, focusing on reliable ELT and integration between various data sources and Goni’s platform. Responsibilities include developing and optimizing data models, supporting the ClickHouse-based data warehouse, and ensuring data quality, scalability, and performance. The role involves collaborating with product, engineering, and analytics teams to understand data requirements, implement best practices, and enable self-service analytics. The Data Engineer will also monitor data workflows, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to automation and documentation to improve operational efficiency. Qualifications Strong skills in Data Engineering and Extract Transform Load (ETL), with experience building and maintaining robust data pipelines. Proficiency in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing, ideally with columnar or analytical databases such as ClickHouse. Ability to work with Data Analytics teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions. Experience with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Scala, or similar). Familiarity with orchestration tools, version control, and CI/CD practices for data workflows. Understanding of data governance, lineage, and best practices for security and compliance. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional, on-site environment. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
