Your Daily Routine Would Include Performing administrative activities for web and application servers, including installations, deployments, configuration, upgrades, security patching, sanity testing, and maintenance across production and non-production environments. Troubleshooting and resolving incidents and technical issues across supported environments and services. Monitoring the health and availability of systems and services, performing diagnosis and root cause analysis, reviewing logs, resolving errors, and implementing workarounds when necessary, in line with defined SLAs. Planning and coordinating changes, upgrades, and the introduction of new services while ensuring system stability and operational readiness. Performing application and system performance tuning and optimization. Developing tools and scripts to automate repetitive operational tasks and improve efficiency. We’ll know you can make it if you have: 2+ years of experience in enterprise environments, maintaining, supporting, and deploying applications or systems across production and non-production environments. Strong experience with UNIX/Linux and/or Windows-based application environments. Hands-on knowledge of web and middleware technologies such as Apache, Tomcat or NGINx. Experience with Shell scripting (e.g. Python). A university degree in IT, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or another relevant field. Fluent English, both written and spoken. Nice To Have Knowledge of or hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools. Experience with HTML, CSS, Java, and/or JavaScript. Experience with SSL/TLS certificates and certificate lifecycle management. Experience with container technologies such as Docker and/or Kubernetes.
