About the job
About the company: Our client runs one of Europe’s largest company bike leasing businesses. Employers offer their people a lease bike, most of them electric, as part of their benefits package, and the client handles the leasing, the dealer network and the service. More than 600,000 employees at around 65,000 companies ride through the programme, supported by 8,000 partner dealers. The business is part of a Dutch family-owned mobility group, and one of Europe’s largest automotive financial services groups holds a significant minority stake. It operates across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France and Switzerland, and is growing across Europe and the USA. The role: You’ll take technical ownership of the web applications behind the company’s leasing portal. That means UI architecture, scalable components, performance and accessibility across the frontend. You’ll join the core engineering team and work closely with solution architects, product managers and other engineers, testing architectural decisions in code, pairing and reviewing to raise the bar for the team. This suits engineers who care about how a frontend is built, not just how it looks. The team values long-term architecture and test automation over quick fixes, and uses AI tools such as Claude Code and Copilot in everyday work. What you’ll be doing: Architect, build and scale responsive web applications in TypeScript with a modern framework Build accessible, WCAG-compliant UI components with semantic HTML and CSS/SCSS Connect frontends to REST and GraphQL APIs and design predictable, scalable state management Write unit, integration and E2E tests, maintain CI/CD pipelines and give thorough code reviews What you’ll need: Senior-level frontend or web engineering experience in agile teams Deep TypeScript/JavaScript and at least one of React, Angular or Vue, with strong HTML5, CSS3/SCSS and responsive design Hands-on WCAG and accessibility experience, plus web security and performance optimisation Clean code and SOLID principles, Git, CI/CD and systematic testing A structured, autonomous way of working and active involvement in refinement Fluent English (German or Dutch is a plus) Nice to have: design systems or component libraries, Node.js or other backend exposure, AI-assisted development, visual regression and accessibility auditing tools, experience in fully remote European teams Location & logistics: Remote-first. You can be based in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Austria, Belgium or Sweden, with occasional travel for team gatherings. 20.139 seguidores Seguir Atividades de consultoria em gestão empresarial • 2-10 funcionários • 7 no LinkedIn edenity helps early-stage technology companies build the product, engineering, data and AI organisations they need for their next stage. Most companies reach that next stage the same way: they hire reactively, then rebuild the organisation around whoever they hired. edenity starts earlier. Before the hiring brief exists, we help you decide what capability you actually need, how the organisation should be structured, and what should be built now versus later. Then we bring together the specialist expertise and talent to make it happen. We work across the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and the Nordics, with companies that need to strengthen technical depth while continuing to ship, scale and evolve. Three things combine to make this possible, and rarely sit together: • Market insight: real-time intelligence on how product, data and engineering functions are actually evolving. • Expert community: deeply nurtured networks of technical leaders and specialist talent. • Hands-on delivery: embedded support to help teams hire, structure and execute at pace. That combination means our work doesn't sit neatly inside one department. Part strategy. Part structure. Part delivery. Building a modern technical organisation was never going to fit in a single box. There is no off-the-shelf way to build a technical organisation. So we don't offer one.
