About the Role We are looking for a Senior Salesforce Engineer with strong expertise in Salesforce Commerce Cloud to join an international client's engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain Salesforce solutions, focusing on custom development, enterprise integrations, and application performance. The ideal candidate has solid hands-on Salesforce development experience, can independently handle complex technical challenges, and is comfortable collaborating with distributed engineering teams. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura components. Develop and maintain integrations with external enterprise systems using Salesforce REST APIs and Named Credentials. Implement Platform Events and asynchronous Apex processes, including Batch and Schedulable Apex. Develop frontend functionality using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Troubleshoot production issues, analyze application logs, and optimize application performance. Write unit tests, maintain technical documentation, and follow Salesforce development best practices. Manage source code using Git/Bitbucket and support CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, and QA teams to deliver reliable technical solutions. Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to maintaining scalable, secure, and high-quality Salesforce applications. Required Qualifications 4–6 years of professional experience developing Salesforce Commerce Cloud solutions. Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura. Proven experience with Salesforce REST APIs, Named Credentials, and enterprise integrations. Experience with Platform Events and asynchronous Apex processing (Batch and Schedulable). Solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD processes. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills. Understanding of Salesforce development best practices, unit testing, and code quality. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with international engineering teams. Advanced English proficiency (C1) is mandatory, including the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly in technical meetings and discussions. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Nice to Have Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud cart calculations, checkout flows, pricing, and merchandising. Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, including product configuration and pricing rules. Familiarity with Salesforce DX, Salesforce CLI, and VS Code extensions. Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD tools. Exposure to Docker or container-based environments.
